Visited Girivihar in june 2023 for first time and our stay there was pleasant! We are there to celebrate our anniversary. We enjoy lot. Great hospitability, warm welcome by owners. We have book superior Room, which was clean, spacious and everything is up to the mark, exactly as displayed while booking. Staff is also helpful. Two and four-wheeler parking is available. We liked the food and breakfast also, it was very tasty. Overall, this place is lovely and has a homely vibe, plus a small cozy garden area too for relaxing and the stairs have some great pictures of nearby picnic spot in Lonavala and Khandala, that are worth looking at. Away from city Centre but easily access in 5-6 min reach there by car. Best for non-drinking, vegetarians and traveling with family.

Loved the new rooms. A big upgrade from my last visit. Very modern now and luxurious. Writing table solved my work from home issue. The food is delicious as always. My favourite kathiyawadi go to place in lonavala

We liked the spacious rooms, things were perfect as per our need. Backside rooms are more peaceful. We chose the Super deluxe with sofa since we had a kid. Food is homely and delicious. Loved the balconies.

Being gujarati you are habitual having gujarati food. And personally I love gujarati cuisine. This place in lonavala serves authentic gujarati cuisine.The ambience gives you the vibes of rajwadi and the staff is very polite and helpful. For the start they serve you papad with the box which includes pickles and chutneys. For starters I had khatta dhokla - 'Gujarati cuisine mein dhokla nahi khaya toh kya hi khaya'. Dhoklas were extremely soft and delicious! For mains I had - Sev tamatar, Bhindi masala with phulka. Both the sabzis were outstanding and phulka were extremely soft with loads of ghee over it. For tasting I even tried bajra rotla which was perfect. I even tried kathiyawadi khichdi and kadhi. I am not a great fan of khichdi but trust me this time I couldn't resist myself from having it. Lastly for dessert part I had aamras which was mandatory for the season! Over all a great experience. Pocket - friendly place.Do head here for delicious food and amazing service!

I Recently visited Girivihar Lonavla to for an overnight stay with the family. I must say, this boutique hotel cum restaurant is the place to be for a great weekend getaway. Located at Tungarli hills, this place is a hotel cum restaurant run by a family since decades. It’s easy to find through the google maps. Their specialty lies in making you feel at home and serving you great Kathyawadi and Gujarati cuisine and it’s just absolutely delicious. Their hotel is nestled in a very green area, trees around to make sure you feel closer to the nature. They serve multi Cuisines as per your tastebuds, from Thali to Pasta, hot Samosa to bhajiya, they have it all. But their thaali is the most talked about, so we tried the Thali for Lunch which consisted of Sabjis, dal, rice, Roti, chass, Papad, salad, dhokla, served with variants of Acchar, It was so yumm! The room service, hygiene and the overall team was just the best. Loved spending our weekend at Girivihar! Must visit.
